Judy Orth, Nursing CEU writer

Judy K. Orth is a board-certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse. She began her career in an intensive-coronary care unit in rural Iowa, where after ten years she designed and coordinated a cardiac rehab program. She later found her passion for clinical nursing as a clinical coordinator at a large hospice in Des Moines and was honored with a national Nurse Competence in Aging Award. Judy's academic background includes a master's degree in gerontology from Western Illinois University, and she has taught nursing at Iowa Wesleyan University and Grand View University. She also combines her clinical and academic experiences and expertise to author continuing education courses.
