CE Requirements for Nursing Licenses

Every two years, the Georgia Nursing Board requires nurses to complete the following continuing education contact hours to comply with licensing requirements:

30 contact hours for RN license renewal
20 contact hours for LPN license renewal
30 contact hours for APRN license renewal

Licensees may select one of five options to fulfill the continuing competency/education requirements. Licensees should submit all documentation to CE Broker using the instructions contained on the Board’s website. Licensees who submit a renewal application and do not complete the continuing competency requirements will be considered to have submitted an incomplete renewal and the license will not be renewed.
