Detailed Michigan License Renewal Information

Nursing CEU

The Michigan Board of Nursing requires each nurse to take 25 hours of continuing education.

For MI nursing license renewal, at least 2 hours continuing education in pain and pain symptom management need to be completed in each renewal period:
Mandatory CE course requirement:

Michigan RN and LPN licenses renew bi-annually by March 31 in even and odd years.
